Which hop up bucking to choose?

Sometimes it's difficult to know how to choose a hop up bucking. A detailed guide would be a long read, but in our workshop we use a few pieces from experience that almost always work for us in specific situations and we can definitely recommend them.

  • AEG with BB weight 0.25g to 0.36g

    4UANTUM Friction PRO or Begadi FLY5 as an ideal hop up bucking. We do not recommend lower weight BBs to anyone, for us the ideal weight for shooting is 0.32g, for lower hop up pressure feel free to choose a bigger nub . For high cadences we recommend Begadi, it really lasts.

  • AEG with 0.32g BBs and more.

    Here we are moving from full auto to DMR. We almost always choose the Begadi MAG5 , for a simple reason - it has a large contact surface with the BB and therefore there is no need to put too much pressure on the BB - there is less loss of power. For 0.40g bullets and larger, we also recommend a larger nub .

  • HPA with BBs 0.30g and more

    We have a really great experience with shooting HPA (F2, Wolf) with the 4UANTUM Friction PRO hop up bucking. Whether it's a lighter weight or a DMR with 0.48g BBs. We recommend the included nub in all hop up chambers instead of their default.

Suitable hop up chambers
